Adobe Premiere Capture Card

Magewell Plugin for Premiere ® is a software tool that enables users to directly access Magewell capture devices through Adobe ® Premiere ® Pro and further record the video as files, expanding the well-established live production benefits of Magewell's products into the post production domain. Does this thing have the capability to capture to 35Mbps-can that be set?-or do I have to capture uncompressed (is that an option?) and then export in ame to h.264 at 35 Mbps? Also-do you capture with the software that this comes with or do we capture in Premiere Pro still with this blackmagic HD capture device?

I've asked this question on the Adobe support forums and didn't get much help, so I thought I'd ask here, hopefully someone might have experienced similar.

I use the avermedia live gamer HD capture card in either .ts or .mp4 capture format, and when I import the captures into Premier Pro CC, the video performs oddly, in that it appears to play at the incorrect speed, and it's impossible to sync my microphone audio.

In order to fix this, I just load the raw capture into Windows Movie Maker, save it 'for high definition display', and the MP4 file that it produces works just fine in Premiere Pro.

I'm guessing that it's something to do with the raw capture format, something that Premiere Pro just doesn't understand. Maybe it's codec related. I've not been able to find anything anywhere that suggests a fix, and I'm guessing the reason that movie maker fixes it is because it converts it into a format Premiere Pro CC actually understands.

Can anyone offer any advice on fixing this? It's not a major problem, but it means for each edit, I have to wait an hour or so to transcode it through movie maker, which is starting to get annoying.

Adobe Premiere Capture Card Compatibility

Recording details: 14 Mbps 1920x1080

The card claims to be capturing at 30FPS, which would suggest it's fixed, however, mediainfo tells me that it's variable, which is what I think is throwing Premiere Pro off, as I don't think it supports variable frame rates. Or does it?

Any input or advice would be appreciated.

Thanks
